Team League Rules
Valleague and Bogey League seasons span 10 weeks.
The first 7 weeks are the Regular Season, and the last 3 weeks are Playoffs.
The events will unlock every Tuesday morning and stay open for 48 hours until Thursday morning (CST). This time window will allow players from all across the Globe to compete.
How Scoring Works
Regular Season Events (First 7 weeks)
At the end of each event, every player will have a Place (1-100). A team's score for that event will be the total of their Top 4 players' Places.
Example: Marc, Shane, David, Jerry, and Eric are all on the same team. After Week 1, here's how they placed:
3. Eric (-45)
18. Jerry (-42)
21. Marc (-41)
49. Shane (-33)
53. David (-32)The team's Score for that event is 91. The lower the better!
We got an Event Score of 91 by adding the places for their Top 4 players: 3 + 18 + 21 +49. David's place was dropped because he didn't finish in the Top 4 on his team.
If a team doesn't have 4 players finish an event, they will receive a 100* for each missing player.
If players tie for a place, they receive the same score for that event.
David's place of 53 still adds +1 to every player who finished behind him.
After 7 weeks, the 12 teams with the lowest total scores will make the playoffs.
Playoffs Events (Last 3 weeks)
Quarterfinals (Playoff Week 1)
Top 4 teams from the Regular Season get a bye to the Semifinals
Teams finishing 5-12, Place scoring (1-32)
Top 4 teams from Quarterfinals advance to the Semifinals
Semifinals (Playoff Week 2)
8 teams, Place scoring (1-32)
Finale (Playoff Week 3)

Rules
Team League Specific Rules
Each Team must have at least 4 players to compete in an Event.
A team will receive 100 points for every absent player slot.
Sharing layouts, winds, aim points, etc. within your team is TOTALLY ACCEPTABLE and encouraged. The intent is to maximize team strategy, cooperation, and camaraderie.
Team League events are Private, and any sharing of the Event Code with players who aren't in the league may result in individual and/or team disqualification. If more than 100 players compete in a team event, all league players won't show on the UDisc leaderboard which is essential for scorekeeping.
Valleague Team Changes
Valleague Captains (VCs) may choose to remove any player they wish from their team.
The VC can then choose a replacement player from the list of undrafted players.
Players who didn't register for the ongoing season will not be eligible as replacements.
VCs can propose a trade of any one player from their team for one player from any other team. Both VCs must agree.
Players can veto any trade they're involved in.
No trades after Week 5.
Captains will only be able to make team changes between Valleague Events. If an Event is unlocked, teams are locked.
All team changes will be announced to the rest of the league on the Global DG Facebook page.
In the event a VC quits the Valleague, the first round pick of that VC's team becomes the new VC, and they can select a replacement from the eligible undrafted players.
General Global Disc Golf Rules
Players are only allowed to play an Event one (1) time using one (1) DGV account. Any identified instance of a player using multiple accounts in an event may result in disqualification from this season AND from any future GDG events or leagues.
Players must be on the most recent release version of Disc Golf Valley to participate in the GDG League.
In the case that an Event includes unexpected and/or misconfigured layouts or bag settings, all players must continue with the round. Scores for affected rounds will count towards the week's results as if they were the intended settings.
Players should take a screenshot of their final scorecards before clicking "Finish" to help with any UDisc result issues. In the event of a dropped score, this is how it will be handled:
With a screenshot: scores will be corrected
Without a screenshot (with registered scores after the dropped holes): players will receive PAR for the dropped hole(s)
Without a screenshot (without any registered scores after the dropped holes): players will receive BOGEY for the dropped hole(s)
Players have the option to appeal/provide evidence of a technical glitch (videos are very helpful here), and GDG will work with them to best rectify the situation.
Global Disc Golf is not owned or operated by Disc Golf Valley, Spinoff Games, or Latitude64 and reserves the right to independently manage the rules, participation, and prize winners related to any Global Disc Golf branded event or league.
Technical glitches or issues with the Disc Golf Valley app and/or the UDisc integration will be handled if possible, but Global Disc Golf makes no guarantees that anything can be done if you experience a glitch. Please do your best to ensure you have a secure, up-to-date version of DGV and are on a solid connection when playing GDG League events.
Any disputes or unforeseen circumstances will be resolved by the Global Disc Golf Club commissioner. Commissioner decisions are final. Send any questions or concerns to League@GlobalDiscGolf.club.
Individual Glory!
In addition to the Valleague Team Season, there will be an individual mini-season as well!
The top individual performers in the ongoing Valleague season will determine who the Valleague Captains for the next Valleague season will be!
There will be a leaderboard of every individual Valleague player by cumulative total score for the season.
The top placed finishers at the end of the regular season will be the VCs for the next Valleague season.
If several players tie for the last Valleague Captain spot, the tiebreakers will be:
A. If any of them are VCs, they get the honors for the next season. Tie Breaker among them is W7 score followed by W6, W5, etc.
B. Draft Order. If there are 20 teams next season, the top 20 performers will be the VCs. If there are more teams next season, then the VCs for those teams will also come from the current season starting at the 21st ranked player and go from there. The only way to become a VC for future seasons is to finish high enough in the previous season.
If a player who finishes high enough to be a VC doesn't want to participate in the next season, then the next highest player who is competing will become a VC.
If a player finishes high enough to be a VC, but they do not want to rank players for the draft, they will STILL BE A VC, and their team will be drafted for them by the Valleague Commissioner. This will prevent the situation where a top finisher intentionally turns down being a VC to guarantee they're paired with another VC-calibur player in the next season.
