🌎A LETTER FROM THE GLOBAL DISC GOLF CREATOR🌍

Hey Everyone,

Over the past several years Disc Golf Valley became more than just a hobby for me. Between this Global Disc Golf website, the GDG Discord server, rankings, leagues, beta testing, and DGVPP, not to mention how much I’ve played it… it was a big part of my life.

My DGV lifestyle was facilitated by an insanely flexible work situation (and a lack of sleep), but that has now changed. I’ve started a new job that takes up much more of my time which means I'm unable to remain as hands-on as I’ve been.

Rather than let things quietly fall off, I want to be upfront about what’s changing:

Website & Rankings

I’ve frozen GlobalDiscGolf.club and the Global Rankings in their current states.


Events & Tournaments

I’ll be stepping away from organizing these. This includes future Global Leagues, Valleagues, Survivors, etc. If you have the desire to fill my role in facilitating top competition, then reach out to Spinoff with your ideas. I’m just a player who happened to ask permission, and that could be you too! Make it your own (and please don't use the same branding I've used for my events 🙏)!

Discord & DGVPP

I truly appreciate all the donations, server boosts, event help, and words of appreciation I’ve received over the years. To those of you who donated or submitted your artwork and ideas to potential future events, I understand that this announcement can be especially disappointing to you. I hope you saw your donations as a token of appreciation for things I had done and not payment for future service.


This game community is weird and wonderful, and I’m incredibly grateful for the genuine friendships I feel I’ve made through it. I hope it continues to be a unique and mostly positive community around a cool game.
